A quick reminder of the entry requirements of this course: You must be 18+ to attend this course, have valid personal ID, a reasonable standard of written/spoken English, and fitness. You must hold a valid DS or CP Licence (or be within a 3 year expiry window to take the ‘Refresher’ qualification), and hold a valid First Aid Certificate, and if you don’t, the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) can be added when booking your place.
Further details about what to expect from the classroom part of your course will be provided once you have booked your place. This includes the daily classroom schedule – what is taught on which days, dress code, break times, etc.
Face to Face Classroom Times: On Day 1, classes run from 13:30 to 18:30 (unless attending the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) as part of your Door Supervisor ‘Refresher’ course – In which case Day 1 for you will run from 08:00 to 12:45 (covering the EFAW) and 13:30 to 18:30 (covering DS training). Make sure you’ve read the information provided above regarding the First Aid Requirement. On day 2, classes run from 08:00 to 18:00 for everybody (the precise finish time each day will depend on the dynamics and abilities of your peers and the order in which you take your final practical assessment).
